Looking to visit GameStop on Black Friday 2016? Here are the deals
to keep an eye on, including a few discounted console bundles.
Chances are you have someone on your gift list who knows their way around a controller. If so, you probably have plans to visit GameStop at some point during this holiday season. Should you go on Black Friday and brave the crowds, though? You’ll have to make that decision yourself, but the ad can certainly help you make that decision.
As of this writing, the company has not made its Black Friday ad publicly available. However, Black Friday sites like BlackFriday.com already have scans of the ad. Take the scans with a grain of salt, but the scans appear legitimate, because the sales look similar to those of previous years.
Unsurprisingly, the two big sales are Xbox One and PlayStation 4 bundles. All Xbox One bundles will be $50 cheaper at $249.99. Additionally, the PlayStation 4 Uncharted 4 bundle will be $50 off, and if you purchase the bundle on Friday, you can snag a free copy of Ratchet & Clank or The Last of Us Remastered.
If you’re looking to add bonus games, the store will discount new Xbox One and PlayStation 4 games like Mad Max, DOOM, and Dark Souls III. More recent games like Titanfall 2 will be $20 off for a price of $39.99. Additionally, specific pre-owned games will be 3 for $20, for what appears to be all consoles.
PC gamers may eye the Alienware 1TB Steam Machine. The store will slash the price by 50% down to just $374.99. (The 500GB version will also drop down to $224.99.)
On the handheld side of things, GameStop will sell a New Nintendo 3DS XL for $99.99. Finally, some merchandise will be discounted. Certain T-shirts will go for just $1.99, and you can buy 3 and get 1 free on regular-priced shirts.
